By The Way / 2016–present

When you move to a new place, you lose the privilege to recognize the neighborhood around you, you need more time to familiarize yourself with the surroundings. Instead of rushing from point A to point B as you used to do, you now walk. You slowly introduce yourself to a new place, pay more attention to minor details, that you constantly ignored in your hometown. You look for differences and similarities.

Five years ago, when I moved to the US, I found myself in the same situation. I discovered, with a big surprise, that all of the American cities have something in common. This project is an effort to demonstrate the timeless similarities in the American cities, that I visited in the past years.
